WHAT ERIK TEN HAG SAID
The United boss thanked the fans for their unconditional support during what was a difficult season for the club and vowed to bring the FA Cup title by beating rivals Manchester City at Wembley.
Addressing the crowd at the stadium, Ten Hag said: "I want to thank you all for the brilliant support during the season. As you know it wasn't an easy season, but one thing remained constant and that was the backing of you for the team. The season is not over yet. First, we go to Brighton, where we go for three points and then we go to Wembley. And I promise you those players will give everything to bring the FA Cup to Old Trafford! We are sure you will be there supporting us. We thank you, you are the best supporters in the world."
The majority of the Old Trafford crowd applauded their head coach, however, certain sections were heard booing the manager, although it is unclear whether they were the home fans.
