As PSG begin life without Mbappe following the forward's move to Real Madrid, the French team's coach was asked about his former charge by a Spanish journalist, and responded by poking fun at his compatriot.

WHAT LUIS ENRIQUE SAID
"My god, how boring these Spaniards are.. My God, you’re still here, this is quite something," he replied. "Until when are you going to be here? But anyways, I don’t have anything to hide. I always adored Kylian, he is an exceptional player, same goes for his brother [Ethan]. I wish Kylian the best and that Real Madrid lose against us."

The Spanish coach was speaking to the press ahead of his team's Ligue 1 opener against Le Havre on Friday evening. The ex-Barcelona and Spain boss was constantly asked about the France star throughout last season amid constant speculation about his future. Now that he has left, he may have thought the questions would stop, but it seems he will continue to be quizzed on Mbappe.

WHAT NEXT FOR MBAPPE AND PSG?
After scoring in his debut as Madrid beat Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup on Wednesday, Mbappe will hope to continue his good start to life when Madrid take on Mallorca in La Liga on Sunday. Before that, PSG will face Le Havre in their first Ligue 1 game without him.
